Privacy Policy
FlareTrack helps you privately track symptoms, medications, flares, labs, notes, reflections, and attachments. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you stay in control.
1. Information you provide
We store the information you choose to enter into FlareTrack, which may include profile details, symptom logs, trigger logs, medication schedules and adherence, flare records, lab values, journal notes, reminder settings, quote favorites, and uploaded attachments such as rash photos, lab screenshots, PDFs, or audio notes.
2. How we use your data
We use your tracking data to provide the features you request, such as displaying your history, generating trends, creating doctor-ready summaries, remembering your preferences, and supporting reminders or exports that you choose to enable.
Free Tracker downloads and optional marketing
The Free Tracker request form requires an email address; your name is optional. We store these details with the request source and creation date. The form provides a download link on the page, not an emailed PDF. Your printable entries stay on your copy and are not automatically uploaded or added to an account.
Marketing emails are optional. If you check the marketing box, we record your affirmative consent, the time it was first given, and the version of the disclosure you accepted. You can download the tracker without checking the box. Existing requests are not treated as marketing consent.
With your consent, marketing may include FlareTrack tips, product updates, and occasional offers. Before marketing campaigns begin, we will provide a working unsubscribe mechanism in each marketing email and honor unsubscribe and suppression requests. This download form does not itself send a marketing email or verify ownership of the submitted email address.
Submitting another download request without checking the marketing box does not cancel an earlier opt-in. Checking it again does not remove a recorded suppression. Contact support@flaretrack.app to request withdrawal of marketing consent or deletion of a tracker request, including if you do not have a FlareTrack account.
Tracker requests and consent records are stored until removed through our administrative process; there is currently no automatic expiry or deletion schedule. Any future marketing process must check consent and suppression records before sending. Private health entries are not used for marketing.
3. How we do not use your data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health entries for advertising targeting. We do not share your private logs with other users, employers, or insurers through the product.
4. Storage and security
FlareTrack uses authenticated access, database row-level security, and private storage patterns so that each user account is intended to access only its own records. Attachments are intended to be stored in a private storage bucket and delivered through signed access links when available. Audio notes are treated as private attachments and are not transcribed, summarized, or analyzed.
5. Access and deletion
You can request export or deletion of your data. Deleting your account is intended to remove your stored profile, logs, reminders, labs, reflection history, uploaded audio notes, and attachments associated with the account, subject to any temporary backup retention required for operational recovery.
6. Third-party services
FlareTrack may rely on infrastructure and support vendors such as hosting, database, storage, email, and payment providers to operate the service. Those services process data only as needed to provide the product.
7. Medical disclaimer
FlareTrack is an informational self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, and not a substitute for a licensed clinician. Any insights, summaries, or trend descriptions in the product are for informational use only.
